Turnberry Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Pickerington, Ohio.
The course first opened for play in 1991. The course was designed by Arthur Hills.
Turnberry has plateau-style, undulating greens. There are many sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design. This is one of seven municipal courses in the Columbus area. Bordering Blacklick Creek, this links-style championship course makes every second shot to the small, elevated greens a test of skill. High fescue grasses, several lakes, and numerous bunkers outline the all bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens.
Turnberry Golf Course plays to a par-72 and maximum distance of 6,757 yards. The course rating is 71.1 with a slope rating of 114.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,757 yards, 71.8 / 124

Front 9 is average but back 9 is very good layout. Its fun with just enough challenge to make things interesting. Fun for variety of level of golfers. Price is very reasonable for condition. Best conditioned Muni out of Columbus Public. I'd recommend Champions and Turnberry out of the Munis at worth driving to play.

Day 79 - 100 days, 100 courses (Friday, May 31, 2019)
Another morning trying to outrun the rain. Up at 5:30 and off the tee at 6:40. An early round is one of my favorite things.
I met Cliff in the pro shop and he gave me a warm welcome.
Turnberry is a links-style course with some challenging holes. However, I must say that they had the nicest bunkers that I have seen in a long time. Nice and fluffy. Luckily I only went in 2.
Shot a 43 front and 43 back and lost 2 balls.
